Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and your choices. Last updated October 7, 2026.

1. Who we are

Zmii is operated by LeCruz, LLC, 4812 Redan Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088. This policy explains what personal information the Service handles and why. It covers this website (zmii.ai), the team app (app.zmii.ai), the client portal (portal.zmii.ai) and the API.

Two roles matter. For your account details and technical data, we decide how the information is used. For the business records a business puts into Zmii (its customers, vendors, invoices and so on), the business decides what to enter and who may see it, and we process that information to provide the Service to it.

MessagesWhat you tell us when you email, call or request a demoYou

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or contact forms. When you click “Request a demo” your email app opens; we only receive what you choose to send.

3. How we use it

  • To provide, operate and support the Service, including signing you in and showing each customer only their own records.
  • To process documents you upload so we can draft records for your review.
  • To protect the Service: limiting repeated sign-in attempts, investigating errors, and detecting misuse.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security and support, and to send invitations and password-reset messages.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations, and to enforce our Terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Document scanning and AI

When you upload a photo or PDF for scanning, the file is sent securely to an AI service (currently Anthropic’s Claude API), which returns the text and figures it finds. We use the result to draft a record for you to review. The provider handles the file under its API terms and privacy commitments. We do not allow the provider to use it for advertising. Please do not upload documents containing information we do not need, such as full payment-card numbers or government ID numbers.

5. Who we share it with

  • The business and its team. Records are visible to the business’s team members according to their role. A portal customer sees only records that belong to them.
  • Service providers that help us run Zmii: web hosting (InMotion Hosting), AI document reading (Anthropic), and, when email is enabled, our email delivery provider.
  • Libraries loaded by the app. The app and portal load open-source code and fonts from third-party networks (jsDelivr and Google Fonts), which means your browser contacts them and they can see your IP address.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect rights, safety and security, or in a merger or sale of the business (with notice where required).

6. Cookies

The app and portal use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms. This website sets none. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account details while your account is active and for a reasonable time after. Business records are kept for as long as the business uses Zmii, and longer where needed for accounting, tax or legal reasons. Because posted ledger entries are voided rather than erased, some records cannot be fully deleted while they form part of a business’s books. Technical logs are kept for a limited period. Backups may keep data for a short time after deletion.

8. Security

We use measures such as HTTPS, encrypted sessions, hashed passwords, rate-limited sign-in, role-based access and scoped API tokens. See our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to restrict how it is used. If you are a customer of a business that uses Zmii, you may need to contact that business too, since it controls its own records. Depending on where you live (for example, California and some other U.S. states), you may have additional rights, including to know what is collected and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for advertising.

To make a request, email billing@krumart.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

10. Children

Zmii is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where data is handled

The Service is operated from the United States and your information is processed there. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version with a new “last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice by email or in the app.
